Mentor sessions

I have a mentor session that Saturday with an amazing photographer.
She is also a military wife. Only downside to this session is she lives 2 hours away from me. So I have to get up before the crack of dawn and out the door by 5:45 to avoid traffic. But it's an all day session so I'm fine with spending 2 hrs in the car to get out there and 3 hrs or more to get home (traffic is going to suck coming home around 6pm).

I can't wait to show you all my images once they are edited and watermarked.

I'm not a great photographer, but as each day passes I learn something new.
Photography is my passion.
It's what makes me light up with excitement (other than my kids and husband of course).

I know photography will never make me rich and probably will never bring me fame, but if it does I owe several people credit.

My grandfather for being the only person I knew as a kid with a SLR camera.
My parents and husband for the financial support and the emotional support.
My kids for making me want to give them better lives and for believing in me.

Rachel Brenke for her wonderful online workshops that teach about Manual settings and how to use them. Also for her wonderful contracts and other business/ photography related things she has to offer.

And Images by Tammy for my upcoming mentor session.
I can't tell you how excited I truly am.
This is my chance to make a long term dream into a reality.

Everything is finally falling into place for my family and I.

In the very near future I plan to blog about what it takes to start a business, as well as marketing, and much more.

Well I must tend to my little ones needs.
Have a great day everyone!
